Come With Me to Shuk

Tuesday, March 19, 2024

Last week, my husband and I had the privilege of dining at Shuk for the first time. We went to dinner to celebrate our friend's birthday. Everyone had such a fun time dining here, I wanted to share some more details about our experience.

Shuk is a Mediterranean restaurant in Savannah's Victorian District, not far from Forsyth Park. In addition to Mediterranean food, they have a wide range of coffee drinks. Our friends specifically recommended Shuk because they know I love a good coffee drink with any meal.

While at Shuk, I had their shakshuka with spinach and feta. Eggs are one of my favorite foods so I was very excited they had it on their menu. Sean had their green chicken shwarma over rice. Both plates were divine. To drink I had an iced vanilla latte, which was also excellent. I have mentioned before, but Sean and I are both gluten-free due to Celiac and Shuk had all of their gluten-free items clearly marked on the menu, so that was a bonus for us. In addition to the good food and drinks, the ambiance was nice as well. The décor was modern with pops of color. Off of the main dining area, they have a patio where you can see some of Savannah's grand oak trees and Spanish Moss across the street.

We would absolutely visit Shuk again and you can learn more about them on their website here: www.shuksavannah.com

Thanks for reading!
Lauren
