Charleston Recap

A few weeks ago, I visited Charleston to celebrate one of my dearest friend's birthday. She and I both adore Charleston and it's bright houses and good shopping. Charleston is also right in between where we both live, so it was the perfect day-trip for both of us. We spent the day admiring the homes, eating, and shopping. Below is a little recap of the day!

The weather was perfect. It was slightly chilly which made walking outside very comfortable. We started the morning by touring one of the historic houses. After that, we walked around Rainbow Row and The Battery to see the beautiful homes. The gardens at these homes are immaculate, I love all of the greenery and palm trees. 

We had lunch at Pearlz Oyster Bar. I enjoyed their scallops and oysters. Our meals were fantastic, and I would absolutely go again. After lunch, we continued shopping until it started to rain. We used this as an opportunity to stop for a coffee break at La Pâtisserie. This is my favorite coffee shop I have tried in Charleston.

To wrap up our day, we shopped a little more and had dinner at Bartaco. I collect matchbooks for my bar cart and was able to get a little one here to commemorate our trip.
