My husband and I recently attended what I deem the prettiest Christmas party of the year. We had so much fun getting dressed up, and wait until you see the view below!

Photos Around Savannah

Thursday, December 7, 2023

Recently, I have been spending quite a lot of my free time walking around downtown and taking photos of the city. I know a lot of you read my blog because you love Savannah, so I wanted to share some of these photos below. If you are visiting Savannah soon and need recommendations on sites to see, check out my Savannah Guide here.

A couple Saturdays ago, my husband and I went to Amelia Island for a day trip. It's a beautiful island in the northern part of Florida and about two hours from Savannah.

This is kind of a random list of things I currently have piled into my screenshots folder. Yes, these are extremely unrealistic, but a girl can dream...

My Little Yellow Dress

Wednesday, November 15, 2023

I purchased this dress recently on clearance from Maje and it can currently be found here. While this is not a sweater dress, Maje has become my favorite place to buy knit dresses. Savannah doesn't get particularly cold in the winter, so their dresses have been perfect for the winter season here.

Sweater Weather

Monday, October 9, 2023

The weather in Savannah briefly dipped below 70 this week. If it could stay like this for a while, the weather would be perfect. However, it will be back up to the 80's this week. That didn't stop me from enjoying the perfect sweater weather though!

Kimpton Brice Hotel Re-Opening

Sunday, August 27, 2023

The Kimpton Brice is a hotel located in downtown Savannah right next to Washington Square. I was recently invited to participate in their grand re-opening event. The hotel was beautiful and they had drinks and food for the guests, as well as live music.

Coffee Date No. 8

Sunday, August 6, 2023

I am back with another coffee date. Here I share a random collection of recent photos from my life. This was a picture taken by my grandma. I went out to lunch with my sister, mom, and grandma one morning after church.

Vacation House in the Outer Banks

Sunday, July 30, 2023

I realized as I was preparing the photos for this post, that I did not take as many photos of the house as I thought. The house we stayed in at the Outer Banks is gorgeous. It is the largest house I have ever been in. The house is three stories tall with around 18 bedrooms. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom and was clearly built for weddings, family reunions, vacations, etc.

Outer Banks Recap

Wednesday, July 5, 2023

Hello all! Recently I was in the Outer Banks for a wedding. My husband and I spent about a week there and we had a ton of fun spending most of the week outdoors. I will do a separate post about the house we stayed in, but it was stunning.

Planning a Pink Themed Party

Wednesday, January 18, 2023

Happy Thursday everyone! I hope you are all having an excellent start to the year. Mine has been fairly busy with our house. We finally laid the quarter round after pulling it up months ago to lay new floors. The quarter round was the color of the old floors and we wanted white quarter round to match the base-boards. Instead of buying new to save money, I opted to paint all of it with the same paint from the base-boards. It feels great to have that big project out of the way!

I wanted to share today some details from my sister's pink, coffee themed graduation party. When she told me that is what she wanted, I knew it was right up my alley since pink and coffee are two of my favorite things. We opted to rent a venue on Tybee Island since it was a special occasion. My mom was in charge of food and I was in charge of decor and coffee. We asked everyone to dress on theme in pink, black, or white.

I have a fairly large collection of silver serve-ware from thrifting and antiquing over time. We used a ton of these and I found the perfect pink tablecloths at Target. I loved that they had the scalloped detailing. I also started collecting glass plates at Goodwill. We thought that would be nicer than disposable and almost as cheap. I am usually the person who throws parties so I know I will be able to use these in the future.

From left to right for the coffee portion I used a punch bowl and cups my husband found for me a few years ago. I found a matching crystal ladle off of Amazon here. A friend of ours made coffee punch for everyone and it was a huge hit! We also had these fun metallic straws.

I bought these plastic champagne coupes to make a champagne tower. I also had a pitcher of vanilla iced coffee and next to that we had the glitter pink lemonade. I made it by mixing one of the frozen lemonade packages you can get at a grocery store and adding this pink edible glitter. I served that in an antique glass and silver pitcher I found while thrifting.

My dress is an old Zara dress and my shoes can be found here. They matched the dress perfectly! Everyone had such a great time at the party and we are so proud of my sister for graduating from college. Hope you all enjoyed!
