For dinner I had a special salmon dish they were serving that evening with a side of truffle fries. One of the things I love is that they have their gluten free options marked on their menu. Sean and I are both gluten free for medical reasons and it makes it a much better experience for us when we can quickly see what is gluten free on the menu. I was also thrilled to see they serve coffee late, so for my drink I had a cappuccino. Sean had their shrimp and grits, which I stole a couple bites of, and it was excellent. They have sweet peas in their shrimp and grits, which is a nice twist.
If you are ever visiting Savannah, The Public Kitchen & Bar should be on your list of restaurants to try. Everyone working there was so friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere is perfect for a lovely evening out. You can see more about them on their site here. You can also see my posts about them on Instagram here and TikTok here.
Thanks for reading!
