Good morning guys! I am excited to be back again with a new outfit today. I was a little dubious when I ordered this dress if I would like it or not, but I love it! It is super comfy which, let's be real, is all we are wearing right now. I recommend going one size up from your regular size to get the relaxed fit.
I hope you are all staying healthy and safe right now! I feel like we have been seeing more and more good news in terms of the virus and I hope this continues to be the case. I am minimizing how much I read the news and instead trying to focus on my fun hobbies to occupy my time.

Hey all you cool cats and kittens! Today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite types of shoes. I wear sneakers *basically* every day that I am not required to wear nicer shoes. They are incredibly versatile, you can wear them with dresses, jeans, etc.
I was drooling over the Golden Goose sneakers linked above, but if I am being honest I'll never be able to justify spending that money on them haha. The Superga sneakers are my usual go-to pair and so far have been insanely easy to clean. I also love the Veja sneakers. I stumbled across them when I read an article about Meghan Markle wearing them to an event.
Hope everyone is continuing to stay safe and healthy!

NEEDLEPOINT:
Needlepointing has been so much fun! I started this hobby last year because I was looking for something for stress relief. I purchased this key-chain kit back in November and never started it, so this was the perfect opportunity to start. Below is the pillow kit I just purchased which I cannot wait to finish. I highly recommend checking out Etsy for kits or seeing if any local places have an online shop.
I purchased the pillow kit to go on my couch in the living room. It came with all of the supplies to completely finish it, so I will share an update when it is done!
WORKING OUT:
I actually love cooking and meal prepping, so I have used this time to try some new recipes! This is probably the best macaroni and cheese I have ever had and it came out of a box. After following the directions on the box, I added a little cream cheese, shredded cheese, and parmisean. We topped with gluten free bread crumbs and put it in the oven on broil for between 5-10 minutes. It was SO SO good!
BLOGGING:
Some of you may have noticed the new logo (I love the new design!) it is simple and clean. I have been trying to use this time to blog more because I truly love it. It feels like I am writing in a diary or sharing my outfits with my girlfriends and I feel so thankful to have this time to spend on it.
READING MY FAVORITE BLOGS:
Here's a list of the blogs I have been reading lately. Everyone has been so awesome at sharing cool things like ways to help people or better yourself during this time, and fun things like outfits etc. I have also been watching fun hair and makeup videos ha!

I don't know about you, but I don't enjoy reading the news. Even before this mess, I didn't enjoy it and instead I would spend mornings drinking coffee and reading my favorite blogs or listening to a podcast (love Chicks in the Office!). Now more than ever, I am reading my favorite blogs for some relief from the constant stream of bad news we are currently surrounded by. I hope my blog can be this outlet for you too.
With everything happening in the world, I have been trying to do any small thing I can to help. I have been staying at home, occasionally going out for a run or to walk my dog. I have been ordering to-go from local restaurants which has been so much fun to try new foods and help out. My favorite source of inspiration with everything has been https://www.carlytheprepster.com/. She has talked about at-home workouts, crafts, and has even made masks for hospitals! Later this week I will share some of what I have been doing to stay busy at home.

On a fun note, I have been expanding my work appropriate wardrobe and this is one of my favorite looks! I have worn these shoes NON-STOP and have even considered ordering a second pair because I know I will wear them out too soon 😅. If you are looking for any of the items worn, I have linked them above!
