My old roommate and I like to go on coffee dates to catch each-other up on life, any tea, etc. and I recently saw Kate with lonestarsouthern.com posts 'coffee dates' to essentially do the same for her readers. So I wanted to start doing the same with you guys!
Jekyll Island had the most gorgeous light tour. It was set up so you could drive around the island on this "light tour" and enjoy the gorgeous views from your car. Apparently they do this every year, however this was our first year going!
I had so much fun wrapping gifts for people this year! It was our first year with our own Christmas tree so I went a little crazy picking out papers to decorate with! Our tree was decorated with red ornaments, red bows, and pom pom garlands. We do not have many personal ornaments yet, however the ones we did get were a yellow jeep, a 'Just Married' ornament (for 2021!), and an American Flag. We want to slowly build up our collection of glass ornaments representative of special moments throughout the year.
I had the privilege of watching a sailboat race in person! It was so much fun, and I learned a ton since I know nothing about sailing. P.S. no this isn't one of the boats from the race 😂.
We have been trying to support local shops and restaurants as much as possible during this difficult time. We were so excited to try the Fat Radish for the first time and loved it. We each tried a couple different seafood options from their menu and it was all SO GOOD.
